Antonio DeVity b. 1901 (Reggio-Calbria, Italy) - 1993. DeVity moved to Rome from Naples early in his career where he was taught by Giacomo Balla, creator of futurism. He then lived and worked in Paris, later returning to Naples, opening a studio and producing paintings of France and Italy for the remainder of his career. DeVity's works have won international awards and he is recognized for his bright colors and impressionist treatment of the streets and waterways of Paris and Venice.
