Antique French Louis XVI Directoire Style Commode

Antique Louis XVI style three drawer commode chest of drawers. Carved fluted pilasters adorn all four corners, leading up to the gorgeous turret-corner carved solid wood top. Original brass Hepplewhite urn medallion beaded ring pulls that uniquely feature portrait profiles of a man and a woman, florals, and bows. The center of each drawer is clad with a brass urn-shaped escutcheon plate.  This is the perfect accent and storage piece at the end of a hall, in an entry, living room or bedroom. It is also the perfect size to be converted into a bath vanity at 31.5" tall and 21.5" deep. Est. early 1900's.
